Archipels
& Entrelacs

Like our current environment, the landscape will be multifaceted and varied in the Haras (Annecy’s former stud farm) this year, in keeping with Édouard Glissant’s “archipelic” thinking of “openness and sharing” and the idea of interweaving (entrelacs), which refers to the constant overlap between our region and artistic motivation. To reflect these themes, several works will be presented as the Sellerie du Haras is opened to the outdoors, including works by Philippe Astorg & Pascal Julliard, Benoît Billotte, and Julien Creuzet, an interactive “lake-island” work, and the INTERFACER platform. Along with this exhibit, there will be tours and mediations, workshops starting in the morning, and the inevitable Thursday night NOCTURNALES.
