EXTENDED ISLAND

Swan Island has become the stage for a hallucinatory luminous installation made up of projected lights and shadows. Immaterial, large geometric forms « twist and bend the landscape » into new lines and surfaces. Artwork which erases our landmarks and reference points !

Having trained as a painter and photographer, the Spanish artist, Javier Riera, explores the techniques used in projection mapping. His work is exhibited in all the major Spanish galleries and today he creates increasingly ambitious installations where he combines landscape and geometric forms.
