CALONI_MOUGINOT - Tristan Caloni, Adrien Mouginot (FR)
Parc Charles Bosson / Derrière l’Impérial
Inspired by nature, the minimalist design of Adrien Mouginot and Tristan Caloni evokes a giant young shoot that has just sprouted from the soil. Like a contemporary Tom Thumb, seated and protected from the sun and the rain, the visitor is invited to contemplate the Annecy landscape, note the passage of time, and…daydream.
The two young designers revisit urban furniture, making it an integral part of the natural environment. Their 3-meter high installation is made of a steel seat and umbrella and invites passersby to take a short break―have a picnic, read, or meditate―under the Annecy sky.
Born in 1994, the two young French designers Tristan Caloni and Adrien Mouginot live and work in Paris (France). After graduating in 2019 with master’s degrees in global design from École Bleue in Paris, they decided to pool their knowledge and skills and founded CALONI_MOUGINOT to experiment with design, artisanal crafts, and do-it-yourselfism. In October 2019 they won the International Industrial Design Award (Industart).

Call for projects by young talent
Since its creation, the Annecy Paysages Festival has sought to encourage and support emerging talent. Every year we launch a call for projects to design and produce artistic or landscape installations in the public space.
