TREE HUGS

The installation by Christophe Guinet, alias Mr. Plant, is a “human-plant” work on the Teppes hill and in the Jardins de l’Europe. The work is composed of molds of the arms of local residents that Mr. Plant made during a residency, to which he has added plants. The molds are attached around tree trunks to make a new kind of arboretum.

Mr. Plant was born in Paris and raised in the city and the country. Fascinated by the plant world as well as urban cultures since he was a teen, he creates ephemeral works of unique live plant art.
